ABOUT US
In 2016 a small group of moms gathered together and pooled their resources to start making meals for the homeless and at-risk citizens of Greater Charlotte. With each event, more and more families began to join in their efforts to bring meals, care packages, and hope to those who need it most. These events became known as our flagship program "More Than a Meal".
In 2017 Moms Making Moves was formed as a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Moms Making Moves is all inclusive and welcomes all people of all backgrounds. We are proud to offer opportunities for participants to give back to the community through volunteer and service projects that inspire change, uplift lives, and serve our community.
Service Area: Fort Mill, Rock Hill, Tega Cay, South Charlotte, and Greate Charlotte (upon request)
Request Help
We offer a variety of services to our families and community. Below outlines our reach and how you can get assistance
Request help with gifts for your family this holiday season. All selected families are guaranteed at LEAST one gift per child, but up to five (as available and $25 and under). Depending on availability, each adult will receive a gifts as well. All approved families will be contacted Monday, November 6th, by email and/or text. If selected you will have 48 hours to provide a list of requested items for the family.
